Friday 21st March is not only Red Nose Day for Comic Relief but also World Down Syndrome Day as well and Easthorpe Student Council have been very busy making plans for all pupils to show their support to both causes.

Easthorpe School would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all of our enthusiastic staff and students who participated in the celebrations for World Book Day 2025.

Easthorpe School hosted staff from schools across the Polaris Community and some members of the central Learning and Development team to share a day of training with Dr Jennifer Nock.

The Ofsted report commends our school for its ability to “manage behaviour skilfully and help pupils to regulate themselves and manage their emotions” as well as showing “high levels of understanding and empathy towards pupils’ social, emotional and mental health needs”.
