We’re pleased to share our latest school newsletter, packed with highlights from a busy and exciting half term at Easthorpe School.

The Student Council have spoken to their classes and have decided that they would like to support Children in Need on Friday 14th November 2025, find out more in our newsletter.

We would like to wish our pupils and parents a very warm welcome back to Easthorpe School and we hope that you all had a great half-term break.

Well, what a very busy year it has been here for us at Easthorpe! We have really grown in numbers this year, welcoming lots of new pupils and staff and we have had a fantastic year.

As part of our commitment to helping pupils understand and commemorate key moments in history, we will be marking Victory in Europe (VE) Day with a special event in school on Thursday 8th May 2025.

Friday 21st March is not only Red Nose Day for Comic Relief but also World Down Syndrome Day as well and Easthorpe Student Council have been very busy making plans for all pupils to show their support to both causes.

On Wednesday 19th March, all pupils from Easthorpe School will be going on a trip to the Nottingham Society of Model & Experimental Engineers (NSMEE), located at the Great Central Railway in Ruddington next to the Country Park.

World Book Day takes place on Thursday 6th March and we hope you’ll join us as we come together to celebrate in school. On Friday 7th March, we are inviting children to come to school that day in anything that they feel comfortable in. This could be a fancy-dress costume to celebrate a particular book/character, bedtime clothes e.g. pyjamas or onesies or their school
uniform.
