Easthorpe Sponsored School Run Results

Dear Parents and Carers,

As you are aware, this half term we were busy trying to raise money towards our Bumblebee friendly area and outdoor equipment so we completed a sposored run.

Well, we have wonderful news…

The children of Easthorpe School raised a staggering amount of money!

The current count is £1,010.26 and we know that there is more to come in.

Every child has taken part, and it has been a delight to watch their enthusiasm and to see how they have encouraged one another. Some children walked a great deal further than what was expected and some classes used their school trips to form part of their sponsored run.

We would like to thank all of you for the support that you have shown the school in helping us to raise these funds, it is very much appreciated, and it won’t be long before the children see the results from the money that they have raised. We will keep you updated!

As you may be aware, all the children were added into a draw, following the sponsored walk and we are delighted to announce that Harry from Oak class was our overall winner and is now the proud owner of a Forest t-shirt. There were also three runners up, each winning Europa League caps.

We hope that you enjoy your half term break and we look forward to seeing the children when they return.
